Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Vibelist account (published by Smarter Life Apps) and its associated data — whether or not the app is still installed.

Before you delete your account: if you have a Premium subscription, cancel it first in the store that manages it — Google Play (Play Store → Subscriptions → Vibelist) or the App Store (iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Vibelist). Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription, and billing would continue.

How to request deletion

From the app

Open Vibelist.
Open the menu, then Account.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

If you have uninstalled the app

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your Vibelist account.
Use “Account deletion” as the subject.
We process the request and confirm deletion within 30 days at most.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The following is erased from our active systems:

your account and its profile (email address, password);
the Google and Apple sign-in methods linked to the account;
the lists you own, along with their items, aisles and recipes;
your invitations and share links;
your cross-device sync state;
your subscription status and your voice assistant usage history.

When triggered from the app, deletion takes effect immediately. Residual copies may remain until our encrypted backups rotate, after which they disappear with no action needed.

What is retained

Lists owned by other people that you contributed to remain the property of their creator: their content is not deleted, but your identity is detached from it.
Reports and support messages you sent us are kept anonymously, with no link to your account.
Accounting records tied to a subscription (invoices) are retained by the app store and by us for the period required by law.
